On 11 April, 2010, Br. Thomas Richards took his first profession, making his vows for the period of one year and receiving the black scapular.

Dom Elias accepted him as a junior member of the community. Br. Gerlac, as prior, assisted in the ceremony.

Br. Thomas' parents joined him after the profession to share in the occasion.
