Kathleen Clark announced her retirement in June 2010, after 18 years of faithful service in the retreat house refectory. She held a farewell party upstairs in the Welcome Centre which was attended by her fellow workers and many community members.

She is well-known to a generation of retreatants at Gethsemani, for her plain-speaking, easy laugh, and big heart.

Both retreatants and the community will surely miss her very much. We ask you to join us in wishing her the very best in her retirement.
